Workspaces & context switching

Workspaces are what make TinyHub different. Each one is a self-contained home for a single client — its own projects, notes, calendar and time — and moving between them takes a single click.

The rail

The rail on the far left lists your workspaces, each shown as its colored tile. Pinned at the top:

  • My Day — your cross-client daily view.
  • Personal — your private, non-client space.

Below those sit your client workspaces, in the colors you gave them.

Switching context

Click any workspace and the whole app becomes that client — instantly. No page reload, no second login. The projects, notes, calendar and time you see are that client’s, and the accent color across the app confirms which client you’re in.

This is the “context switch” TinyHub is built around: the cost of moving between clients drops to almost nothing, so you can work the way real client work actually flows — a bit here, a bit there.

Inside a workspace

When you’re in a workspace, the second column (the context nav) gives you that client’s:

  • Today — the workspace’s home, with what’s due and in progress.
  • Task views — Today, Upcoming, Inbox and All.
  • Projects — grouped work, each with its own page.
  • Notes, Calendar and Time.
  • Members & Settings.

Personal vs client work

Your Personal workspace works exactly like a client workspace, but it’s just for you. Use it for your own errands, ideas and admin — anything that isn’t a specific client’s work. See Personal vs client work for how people split the two.
