Bring your stuff (import)
Already have tasks and projects somewhere else? You can bring them into a workspace from a Markdown or CSV file, with a preview so there are no surprises.
Import a file
Section titled “Import a file”- Open the workspace you want to import into.
- Go to Settings → Import.
- Drop in (or choose) a
.mdor.csvfile. - TinyHub shows a preview — e.g. “5 tasks in 2 projects” — without changing anything yet.
- Happy with it? Confirm the import. Your projects and tasks appear live in the workspace.
Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”- Markdown — headings become projects, checklist items (
- [ ]) become tasks. - CSV — a spreadsheet with columns for the task title, project, due date and so on.
See Import formats for the exact column names and Markdown structure TinyHub understands.
Safe to run twice
Section titled “Safe to run twice”Imports are idempotent — if you import the same file again after editing it, TinyHub updates the matching items instead of creating duplicates. So you can refine your file and re-import without making a mess.
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”- Tasks & projects → — organize what you just imported.
- Export your data → — the reverse: download a workspace as a file any time.
